Paris plants 170,000 new trees for better air
Paris has increased the number of tree-planting operations to 10,000 a year to improve the city’s air quality. With this new type of natural filtration system, Paris aims to improve air quality by the end of the decade. Almost 14,000 young trees were added in the first planting season of 2020/2021.
