Asthma and bronchitis are literally exploding diseases that are increasingly claiming their victims.
In Germany, the number of asthma diagnoses has risen by an unbelievable 24% within 10 years. Chances of a cure from conventional medicine, or at least containing this frightening development, is not always promising. Alternative approaches are not purposefully pursued by conventional medicine.
This book takes up research results and provides therapeutic approaches for successful asthma therapy. Examples of this are the following findings:
- Magnesium is often in low concentrations in asthmatics.
- Pyridoxine (vitamin B6) is often too low in asthmatics, or people with asthma often have a vitamin B6 deficiency.
- Vitamin C promotes energy metabolism and acts as an antioxidant.
- Omega-3 fatty acids inhibit the production of leukotrienes.
- Quercetin blocks the conversion of arachidonic acid to inflammatory prostaglandins and leukotrienes.
