The use of ozone is beneficial for filtering odors, bacteria, and viruses. Ozone (O3) then breaks down into oxygen (O2). The concentration is within permissible limits. Ozone only becomes harmful with prolonged exposure to high concentrations. This risk does not exist with BestElements air purifiers.
